Weight and folding. If the chair will go in and out of a car boot or an apartment lift every day, every kilogram counts. Our carbon fibre Ultra-Lite Carbon range weighs 11.1 to 13.3 kg without battery and folds in 3 simple steps like a manual wheelchair. The Travelier folds automatically to the size of a suitcase. Who will drive it. Most of our chairs use a joystick for the user. If a family member or caregiver will be in control, the ELFIGO Travelier is driven entirely by a Bluetooth remote, an attendant controller is available for the Ultra-Lite Carbon and Carbon BW, and a remote control option is available for the Ultra-Lite Air. Range and batteries. Quick-release lithium batteries can be charged off the chair, so you can leave the wheelchair in the car and charge the battery indoors. Choose a larger 10AH battery or a second battery for longer days out, and read how India's summer heat can affect electric wheelchair use.

Lightweight folding chairs are easy to lift into a car or cab, and their detachable lithium batteries can usually be taken on board a flight as carry-on (subject to airline approval). Yes. Our products are shipped from our headquarters in Singapore and usually arrive within 7–14 working days, subject to customs clearance. Shipping costs and taxes are shown at checkout. To avoid customs delays, KYC documents are needed before we ship; see our FAQ for the list.

Most of our wheelchairs have detachable lithium batteries that can be taken on board as carry-on, subject to airline approval. Check the battery rating on the product page and confirm with your airline before you fly.

They perform well on hard, relatively level surfaces such as indoors, concrete pavements and asphalt roads, but not on soft or uneven ground like grass, gravel or sand. They are not waterproof, so avoid heavy rain; light drizzle for a short time is acceptable.

The ELFIGO Travelier weighs 8 kg without battery. Among our joystick-driven chairs, the Ultra-Lite Carbon V2 is the lightest at 11.1 kg without battery and cushion.
